This past weekend I spent a wonderfully relaxing Saturday at TuckAway Shores. 

TuckAway Shores in Indiatlantic, FL.  It’s a cozy  and comfortable boutique resort with 30 units right on the beach.  Amenities include a heated swimming pool, a grill so you don’t have to eat out every night, a cabana room to play cards, watch tv or just to get together, free wireless internet, cable, kitchenettes.  close to restaurants, starbucks, etc. Private beach area, deck area with amazing veiw of the beach. 

I really enjoyed this great cozy property and would go back again and again.  Was quiet, no loud noise.  During the day, plenty of waves if you love surfing or you can relax by the pool.  Don’t you just hate it when you’re on vacation and can NEVER get to the pool because it’s constantly packed?  Never seemed to be a problem here.  The grounds were very clean and neat.  Had dinner at Bizzaro pizza.   Great food and service and from there of course I had to hit Starbucks.  Not alot of parking at Bizzaro pizza.  Do not park in the lot behind Bizzaro, that parking is for other businesses and your car will be towed.  There are signs in the parking lot and on Bizzaro’s front door.  So needless to say I moved my vehicle, just want I needed….to be towed.    

Back at TuckAway Shores, sat outside on the patio sipping a glass of wine and looking at the stars while listening to the ocean waves constantly crashing against the beach.  We saw about 6 shooting stars that night, was an amazing view.  It was very cool at night, so bring a sweater if you’re going to sit outside.  My time was too short but I enjoyed every minute of it and can’t wait to go back again. 

Make sure that you take the time to take care of yourself, even if it is just a short get away.  We all need time to shut down and think of nothing but ourselves and those we love.  We all have to recharge our batteries so we are still available to those who need us.
